2-DAY FLYFISHING SEMINARS

These instruction-packed lessons will prepare most beginning and intermediate anglers for flyfishing from Alaska to Argentina. These schools are internationally recognized as the finest and most professional offered in the sport.

These comprehensive 2-day seminars are designed for both beginner and intermediate flyfishers. While a few of the lectures contain very basic information (knots and basic aquatic entomology) that may be an old hat to the experienced flyfisher, the flycasting is thorough and will be useful to all but the most advanced angler.

flyfishing school accomadations Many of our seminars are taught near Redding, California in the shadow of Mount Shasta. Our classrooms are surrounded by famous spring creeks, wild trout streams, and "blue-ribbon" rivers and lakes. Guided fishing with our expert staff is available following any of the schools.

You will receive The Mel Krieger School Notebook and will use state-of-the-art flyfishing equipment (Sage, Winston, Scoot, Orvis, Loomis Redington, Ross, Abel, Scientific Anglers, Rio and Cortland). 3-DAY or 4-DAY GOLF & FLYFISHING SEMINARS

The beautiful private course on a bank of the Sacramento River, in California, will host our terrific three day golf and flyfishing seminar. All meals, green fees, and instruction are included in the package, which will be highlighted by a half day guided float trip on the Sacramento River. Accommodations can be arranged locally.

4-Day "TPC at Sawgrass"

Four action-packed days of golf and flyfishing at the famous Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Costs include a balanced mix of instruction and practical application for both sports. All meals and accommodations at the Marriott Sawgrass are included, as well as 18 holes of golf at both the Stadium and Valley Courses. Flyfishing instruction will be highlighted by a half day of guided fishing at the marvelous local fishery.

4-Day "TPC at The Canyons"

The TPC at The Canyons is a member of the PGA TOUR'S prestigious network of TPC stadium courses, designed to accommodate tournament play with natural amphitheaters for spectator viewing. Designed by golf course architect Bobby Weed, TPC at The Canyons is designed to incorporate its dramatic desert surroundings. The Canyons began co-hosting the Las Vegas Senior Classic with TPC at Summerlin in 1997.
This package includes: All instruction, 4 nights lodging at the beautiful Resort at Summerline, all meals, Guided fishing fees and gratuities, all fishing equipment, and instructional books and videos. Corporate outings require a 12 person minimum.

3-DAY FLYFISHING SEMINARS

We've balanced instruction and catch and release fishing in some of California's most beautiful waters. Your days are spent on water with a minimal time in the classroom. These comprehensive three day seminars will include basic casting skills, tackle set-up, entomology, presentation skills, fly and leader selection, dry fly and nymph fishing techniques and more. Included are all lodging, meals and instruction costs.

Your proficient guides and instructors will lead you through the process, from tippet selection to releasing fish. This skills you lean will improve your confidence and enrich your fishing experience anywhere. We limit our school to six students, assuring you receive individual attention.

Lessons and fishing are scheduled around peak insect hatch times, placing you on the water at primetime. Our outdoor "classrooms", Trinity River, Owens River & Hot Creek, and the Upper Sacramento River are superb blue-ribbon trout streams, each presenting a unique fishing environment.

We have hired Mike Lawson's guide staff to share these fabulous waters with us. Delta Lodge

Our classrooms will be the Upper Sacramento and McCloud Rivers. These exceptional California rivers will offer you great learning experiences. The five days will be capped off with a Lower Sac float trip. You will learn more in these five days than you could in several seasons tramping about by yourself. $1,400
