ADVANCED CASTING CLINICS
Advanced
Casting Clinics are one-day sessions intended to open new vistas for experienced
flycasters and to help them reach higher plateaus in flycasting and fishing.
Anglers will learn dynamics of casting that will enable them to control
and accelerate line speed developing their flycasting learning curves.
By polishing basic skills, they will add distance, perfect accuracy and
develop
more sophisticated presentations techniques. These new skills will add
pleasure
to their days on the water.

casting techniques and a firm understanding of the mechanics of flycasting.

SPEY & TWO-HANDED
FLY ROD CASTING CLINICS
Spey
casting with one and two handed rods add a new dimension to flyfishing.
These one-day clinics, held on the Sacramento River near Redding duplicate
the challenging conditions facing fishermen on the world's large rivers.

We have recently had more of an interest in our Mel Krieger Spey Casting
seminars and would like to add one to our calenda. We are hoping to have
enough interest to offer one on April 19th, 2000 here in Redding,
California.
Taught by Mel and his head instructor, Chris King, you will learn the
forward Spey, single Spey, Double Spey, Snake Roll Spey, Aerialized Spey,
and the Jump Roll Spey with both single and double handed rods. Breakfast
is included and starts at 9am and the day ends around 5pm. Lunch is included
as well. Cost per person is $250.
We need a minimum of 6 people to make a school, so please sign up as soon
as possible so we can make arrangements. I hope this date will work for
you.

FLYCASTING
INSTRUCTOR'S WORKSHOP
As
part of our commitment to the sport of flyfishing, we are offering very
comprehensive workshops for instructors that will polish their teaching
and communication skills, as well as their ability to analyze, critique
and improve flycasting.
Completion of this workshop is indicative of a commitment to professional
excellence that will add to the credibility of any instructor. Participants
may choose to complete the F.F.F. Flycasting Certification Test. All those
enrolled will be given an advanced syllabus. Preparation for this test
is highly recommended. At 3:00 p.m. there will be an opportunity to become
FFF certified as an instructor. There will be an additional $50
fee for the Federation of Flyfishers for the administration of the written
and performance tests. These clinics will be held near or in Redding.
Breakfast and lunch are included in the cost.

Casting Clinics include:
Lunches,
as well as the use of the finest and most advanced casting tools available
(from Sage, Winston, Scoot, Loomis, Abel, Loop, Bauer, and Redington),
and The Mel Krieger School Notebook. Accommodations vary according
to the destination and are not included in the cost of the clinic.
