New
Zealand
The
spectacular Southern Alps and the rivers that flow from them
(the Worsley, the Greenstone, the Mataura,
the Clinton and others)
are some of the most beautiful in the world.
Our
programs have everything from camping to deluxe fly-out lodges.
Our "Angler-to-Angler" program was pioneered over thirty
years ago.
"New
Zealand has the best sightfishing
for large trout and the friendliest people!"

The
Angler-to-Angler Program
If you have a strong feeling about people
This
is a unique people-to-people fishing experience. New Zealanders
from all walks of life host our clients and friends in their homes
for one or two weeks a year. They will take you fishing or show
you the attractions in their area.
With
our careful matching, many of our hosts and guests have become longtime
personal friends. If you would like to experience a lovely country
from the inside out, if you would like to fish with a New Zealander
on their home waters, if you have a strong feeling about people
then talk to us about the "Angler-to-Angler" program.

The
South Island
The
South Island is the home of the Southern Alps and thousands of miles
of magnificent trout streams holding large browns, rainbows and
sea trout.
The
fishing is the classic "walking and stalking" for large wild trout.
It is the more scenic, less populated island, and its residents
are wonderfully friendly.
Rivers
on the South Island include: the Worsley, the Greenstone,
the Mataura, the Clinton and many others.

The
North Island
The
North Island is the center of the Maori culture. The principal flyfishing
is in the lake country of the Rotorua/Taupo area and
differs somewhat in character from that of the South Island. Rainbow
trout fishing in lakes and the river mouth fishing for large fish
on such rivers as the Tongariro has been renowned
for many years.
